Mexican Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
  • Add cream and brown sugar to a small saucepan set over medium to medium-high heat.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved completely.
  • Remove pan from heat and add the chocolate, stir with a spatula until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Stir in butter and cinnamon until sauce is very smooth.
  • Pour into stoneware and place in the heating base.
  • Serve with strawberries, sliced bananas, brownies or cookies.
